Description

This is Musho Misaki :D He is my little elfy boy. He's very innocent and doesn't comprehend a lot of what we would call "common sense". Musho is extremely old, but it's not the dumb "LOOKIE I R ELF SO I GOTTA BE OLDZ."

Musho is half "Ancient Elf" and half "Watsubaku", both races I made up specifically for my story writing.
He was born in a sort of colony of Ancient Elves, though they did not have that name at the time. In fact, they firmly believed they were the only people in existence, excluding the animal creatures. Their race was created first, sort of as a test race I suppose, and the gods created a "bubble" around them. This bubble could not be penetrated, so they could not leave and no one else could come in, but they saw it as the Mother, whom is their chosen god of worship, protecting her children from evil.

Of course one of them had to get curious and Musho's mother, Lanari, managed to escape the bubble by praying to the Mother to allow her to see what is beyond the barrier. Upon being granted she stumbled across the Watsubaku village.

The Watsubaku were the next race created after Ancient Elves and were considered the first "witches". Majority of them learned spells to cast magic, though the higher class witches could simply think it and it happened. Otherwise they looked completely "human", baring no pointed ears nor were they gene specific like Ancient Elves (all Ancient Elves have black hair, green eyes, and naturally pale skin).

Lanari fell in love with on of the Watsubaku and became pregnant with her second child, Musho. However she feared staying with the Watsubaku, convinced the Mother would not approve, and scurried back to her colony; her son was born and raised as an Ancient Elf.

The Watsubaku, like the Ancient Elves, had a barrier, but their barrier prevented evil from penetrating, rather than preventing anyone from entering and anyone from leaving.

You see, though, these "bubbles" are important. In these bubbles the aging of the Ancient Elves and the Watsubaku were normal, like any humans. When they exited the bubbles though... their aging was stunned. Every so many years they would finally age one year in their features, which is why Musho looks so young now despite being pretty ancient.

His sister, Sayoki, was labeled the "Chosen One", for the High Priest came to their people with a vision that she would watch over a very important princess of a different clan. It all went to her head and she was pretty much worshiped, until her brother became the youngest priest in their history. So, that meant less attention. Less praise. All of this Sayoki did not approve of.

It's unknown how she managed to do this, but Sayoki destroyed the barrier that protected her people from the outside world. Demons and other various creatures swarmed in and attacked, destroying all in sight. Only Sayoki, Lanari, Musho, and Chukap managed to escape. Lanari, knowing about the Watsubaku, took them to that village.

Now, before I completely ruin my book (since I am writing a book about this character). People died. That village was also destroyed. Only one Watsubaku, excluding Musho, survived. Now there are only two full Ancient Elves in existence and both of the Watsubakus are half.

Outside of the barrier Musho stopped aging, mostly. He desperately wants to figure out how to create a new barrier somewhere so he can finally age properly, reach old age, and die in peace.
